The Hoeman Family: 11 months

Well it's official. Carter is 11 months old, which also means in one month he will know longer qualify as a baby but rather a toddler. Yikes! Let the birthday planning begin!

Food: Currently Carter's favorite fruit is strawberries and favorite veggie is broccoli. However a close second for him in the veggie world is squash. He loves all kinds! For the most part Carter is a good little eater. This past month he has also munched on some noodles and cheese tortellini. Yum! And just this past weekend he had pancakes for the first time, IHOP pancakes that is. His first bite of pancake he spit out and then quickly shoveled the rest of the tiny pieces into his mouth. I think I know what he'll be getting for breakfast on the weekends.

Sleeping: About the same as last month. Sleeping well at night, usually a good morning nap, and a short afternoon nap.

Activities: Carter is officially up on all fours crawling all over the house. Very little army crawling these days. Also Carter has gotten quite quick at this crawling business! Not much gets done around the house because you have to keep a constant eye on him and his shenanigans. Should I mention he has also discovered our stairs. He's actually quite good at climbing up the stairs (with a lot of spotting), but as far as going down, well that's another story. He's thinks head first is the best option. Carter still loves his walker and is pretty good/steady on it. He is able to control his speed and loves cruising around the house. The little stinker is pretty smart too. He has figured out where we hide it and if the laundry room door is open, then you'll probably find Carter in there trying to get his walker. This past weekend Carter graduated in the carseat world. He is no longer in his infant seat but a big boy carseat that supposedly should last for several years.
