Books!

Within the last couple of weeks Carter has been more into his books (which I of course love).  It started out with a couple of books that have peek-a-boo flaps.  Then he slowly became interested in books with just text and pictures.  He will either sit on our laps or next to us, and we just read one book after the next.  Carter definitely goes through phases where he favors certain books and prefers to have them read over and over.  His book time has also become part of his nap-time routine.  Right before nap we take time to read through three or four (or five or six) books and then it's time to go upstairs.  I sure hope he continues to be fascinated with books as he gets older.
