Welcome to our blog!!!!

After many recommendations, we have decided to start a family blog to keep our out of town family and friends up to date with our life here in Houston.  Hopefully we will find time between work and being new parents to make this worth while. :)  Be sure to check back from time to time.

Currently, we are in the middle of Carter's first illness.  The poor guy caught RSV, a respiratory virus, and has been fighting a nasty cough for almost a week now.  Luckily, as you can see below, he is still in good spirits despite not feeling his best.  Here he is today playing with Daddy.

He goes back to the doctor on Tuesday this week for another checkup and hopefully he will be feeling much better by then.
