Well today marks our sweet William's second birthday. I can't believe it has been two years since we last held our little boy. Not a day goes by that William doesn't cross our minds. I know that he is in a better place, and that he is able to breathe, play, and live without the constant help of the medical world. As I was told by other moms who have experienced the loss of a baby...it takes time. With time the pain and sadness has faded but we will always have a scar.
Even though William is not here, we continue to feel blessed about our family. We are so thankful for Carter. He has brought us much joy and happiness and has helped ease the pain of missing our William. We know William is watching down upon us.
This afternoon we sent William balloons to celebrate his birthday with his family and angel friends. We love you and miss you baby boy. Love, Daddy, Mommy, and Carter
