We can't believe our little guy is four months old (almost 5). Carter has changed so much in one month! He rolls from tummy to back (when he's in the mood). Although, I think it scares him a little, because every time after he has done it he looks a little alarmed and confused. Carter has the best smile and laugh! When he thinks something is really funny he even gives it a full out belly laugh. It's pretty adorable :) Some of his best laughs come when he is lying on his changing table. We've also realized that he is ticklish, especially under his armpits. Above his changing table is a mirror. Carter loves looking at himself and whoever is holding him in the mirror. He breaks out into a big gummy smile. He enjoys playtime on his mat and bats at his toys. Carter is a little observer. You can tell he is trying to take in every little detail. He's quite an alert little guy. In fact a little too alert at times. We are still working on those naps. He likes to think he doesn't need them or very short ones at the least. It's quite sweet when he wakes up in the morning these days. Instead of waking up and crying he will know talk and coo to himself for awhile before letting us know he is ready to get out of bed. What a fun little boy we have! Tomorrow he goes back to the doctor for his 4 month check-up and some more shots :(
