We have not posted many new updates this month, because February has been an extremely busy month full of lots of visitors. Our first visitor this month was........ Gigi! While Kurt went to work, Gigi, Carter, and I practiced our shopping. :) (We actually did really well not overspending.) Gigi was the perfect companion for Carter in the car as she entertained him in the backseat. Since shopping with Carter is so much easier with two people, we were able to visit all my favorite stores that I hadn't been to in awhile. That week we also went to library storytime where we sang songs, read books, and played with (actually Carter just stared at) the other babies. In the evenings after Carter was down, the three of us hung out talking and playing cards. Mom kicked Kurt's butt quite a few time in Five Crowns. Oh and Kurt kicked mom's butt in Canasta, but only because he forgot to share some of the rules with her. ;)
It was so nice having Gigi here. She was super helpful with Carter and around the house. It's amazing how having another person in the home allows you to accomplish so much more in a day. There are things that got cleaned that hadn't been touched since October. One evening Gigi even stayed home with Carter so that Kurt and I could go out to dinner with our good friends Christi and Jeff.
We had such a wonderful visit with Gigi and miss her already. I'm so happy she was able to come down and spend time with us and especially our little boy. He has changed so much since last time she saw him at Christmas, and he is just so much fun right now. Gigi even witnessed Carter rolling over, his gummy smiles, and cooing and laughing. We miss you and love you Gigi! We can't wait for you to come back. Oh yea, and Carter says to bring Papa with you next time.
